Mouse Collagen alpha-1 (XXVIII)chain (Col28a1) ELISA Kit

The assay has a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a reported sensitivity of 0.395ng/mL, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse collagen alpha-1(XXVIII) chain. COL28A1 is a secreted component of the extracellular matrix, where it may act as a cell-binding protein and contribute to maintaining tissue structure and function. The protein is reported as a 135 kDa monomer under reducing conditions or as a homotrimer under non-reducing conditions, with UniProt accession Q2UY11 and a molecular weight of 71,075 Da.
