Mouse COL4A1/Collagen Type IV Alpha 1 ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of mouse COL4A1 (Collagen Type IV Alpha 1), a key structural component of basement membranes. Sensitivity is reported as 46.875 pg/mL, with a working range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity across serum (n=5) is 87–102% at 1:2, 87–100% at 1:4, and 84–97% at 1:8. EDTA plasma (n=5) values are 86–96%, 83–90%, and 82–93%; heparin plasma (n=5) values are 86–105%, 85–101%, and 80–98%. Recovery ranges and averages are 87–105% (97%) for serum, 88–105% (97%) for EDTA plasma, and 90–102% (96%) for heparin plasma.

The protocol includes equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards and samples, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes at 37°C, TMB color development for 10–20 minutes in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Kit components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
