Mouse COL3/Collagen III ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantification of collagen III in mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The double antibody sandwich format delivers a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL with a detection range of 0.625–40 ng/mL. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Collagen III is a vital component of the extracellular matrix, supporting tissue structure and function. Abnormal levels have been linked to fibrosis, cardiovascular disorders, and skin aging. The kit targets mouse reactivity and includes linearity and recovery data for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples.

The assay workflow includes reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
