Mouse Coagulation factor XII (F12) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA designed for the accurate and reliable quantification of mouse coagulation factor XII in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and cell culture supernatants. From Assay Genie, this colorimetric immunoassay targets the F12 gene product, also known as Hageman factor (HAF), a serum glycoprotein involved in the initiation of blood coagulation, fibrinolysis, and the generation of bradykinin and angiotensin.

The assay has a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.164ng/mL. Its reactivity is specific to mouse samples, and the kit recognises both natural and recombinant mouse coagulation factor XII. Factor XII is a secreted protein that interacts with HRG; this interaction is enhanced by zinc ions, inhibited by heparin-binding, and suppresses factor XII autoactivation and contact-initiated coagulation.
