Mouse Coagulation factor VIII (F8) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a Sandwich ELISA developed for the quantitative measurement of mouse coagulation factor VIII (F8) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples only and detects natural and recombinant mouse coagulation factor VIII. Factor VIII is a key coagulation protein that acts, together with calcium and phospholipid, as a cofactor for factor IXa in the conversion of factor X to its activated form, factor Xa; the protein is secreted to the extracellular space and its stabilisation in circulation depends on interaction with vWF.

Quantitative performance is reported with a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.156ng/mL. Precision is stated as an intra-assay CV of 6.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.8%. Dilutional linearity in serum spans 86-96% to 113-122% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, in EDTA plasma 91-101% to 94-104%, and in heparin plasma 97-107% to 104-114%. Spike-and-recovery averages 85% in serum (range 80-91%) and 87% in plasma (range 81-93%). The product is intended for research use only.
