Mouse Coagulation factor VII (F7) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative determination of mouse Coagulation factor VII (F7). The assay accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Coagulation factor VII. Factor VII is a secreted serine protease that initiates the extrinsic pathway of blood coagulation; circulating in the blood as a zymogen, it is converted to factor VIIa, which in the presence of tissue factor and calcium ions converts factor X to factor Xa and factor IX to factor IXa.

The reported detection range is 7.8-500 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 3.65 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 6.7% (CV) and inter-assay precision is 10.5% (CV). Linearity has been assessed in serum (N=5), EDTA plasma (N=5) and heparin plasma (N=5) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery was measured in serum (average 103%, range 97-109%) and plasma (average 105%, range 99-111%). The associated UniProt accession is P70375. For research use only.
