Mouse Coactosin-like protein (Cotl1) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Coactosin-like protein (Cotl1), a protein involved in cell migration, cytoskeleton organisation, and actin dynamics. The Mouse Coactosin-like protein (Cotl1) ELISA Kit is intended for research use only and supports studies of COTL1 function and its links to cancer, autoimmune disease, and neurodegenerative disorders.

Detection uses an ELISA/colourimetric method on a removable microplate, with a stated detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.82pg/mL. The assay recognises natural and recombinant mouse Coactosin-like protein (UniProt Q9CQI6; NCBI Gene ID 72042; official symbol Cotl1; synonym Clp), a 15,944 Da species localised to the cytoplasm, cytoskeleton and nucleus. The target binds F-actin in a calcium-independent manner with a 1:2 stoichiometry and acts as a chaperone for 5-lipoxygenase (ALOX5/5LO).

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Provided reagents comprise an ELISA microplate (8×12 strips), lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and plate sealer; components are stored at -20°C or 4°C as indicated on the label.
