Mouse CLCF1/Cardiotrophin Like Cytokine Factor 1 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise quantitative measurement of Cardiotrophin-like Cytokine Factor 1 (CLCF1) in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. It uses a colorimetric detection method with a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a standard range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. CLCF1 is a key cytokine implicated in inflammation, immune response, and cell differentiation, and is also associated with autoimmune disorders and metabolic syndromes, making this kit a useful tool for research into these conditions and the exploration of potential therapeutic interventions.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate in a double-antibody sandwich format. The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples and blanks, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, and TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes. Absorbance is read at 450 nm immediately after addition of stop solution.

Validated linearity for serum (n = 5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 87-97%, 85-101% and 87-100% respectively, with EDTA plasma ranging 99-104%, 87-98% and 82-96%, and heparin plasma ranging 83-101%, 84-97% and 86-105%. Recovery averages 94% in serum (range 86-100%), 99% in EDTA plasma (range 87-105%) and 94% in heparin plasma (range 88-105%). Unopened kit components are stable at 2-8°C for 12 months.
