Mouse Claudin-2 (Cldn2) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of mouse Claudin-2 across serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method with a reported detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.78ng/mL. Specificity is confirmed against natural and recombinant mouse Claudin-2, and the assay is classified within the Signal Transduction research area. Precision is characterised by an intra-assay CV of 7.9% and inter-assay CV of 10.3%.

Claudin-2 is a key protein involved in the regulation of tight junctions and barrier function in epithelial cells, playing a major role in tight junction-specific obliteration of the intercellular space through calcium-independent cell-adhesion activity.
