Mouse Citrate Synthase (CS) ELISA Kit

Citrate synthase catalyzes the first committed step of the tricarboxylic acid cycle, condensing acetyl-CoA with oxaloacetate to form citrate, and it is widely used as a quantitative marker of mitochondrial mass in metabolic and bioenergetic studies.

This Assay Genie kit is configured for quantitative measurement of mouse citrate synthase using a capture-antibody plate and a standard curve supplied with the reagents. Validated for use with tissue homogenates and cell lysates, the kit supports research into mitochondrial content in mouse models of metabolic disease, exercise physiology, and oxidative phosphorylation.
