Mouse Chymase (Cma1) ELISA Kit

A specialized sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie provides quantitative detection of mouse chymase (Cma1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with a colorimetric detection method. The assay is reactive with mouse samples. Chymase is described as a major secreted protease of mast cells with suspected roles in vasoactive peptide generation, extracellular matrix degradation, and regulation of gland secretion (C0, S1, S2).

Reported performance figures include a detection range of 0.312–20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.165ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 3.4% and an inter-assay CV of 6.5%. The kit is stated to recognize natural and recombinant mouse chymase (S1, S2).
