Mouse Chondroadherin (Chad) ELISA Kit

A reliable colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse chondroadherin (CHAD), also known as cartilage leucine-rich protein. The kit is designed for research studies involving cartilage biology and joint health, and it detects natural and recombinant mouse Chondroadherin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 30pg/mL. Linearity has been verified across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (N=5) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, yielding ranges of 103-115%, 95-105%, 100-109%, and 111-121% for serum; 107-117%, 106-116%, 98-108%, and 98-107% for EDTA plasma; and 95-106%, 107-117%, 107-118%, and 89-99% for heparin plasma. The targeted CHAD protein is reported as mostly monomeric, interacts with collagen type II, and is localised to the extracellular space and extracellular matrix.
