Mouse Choline kinase alpha (Chka) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse choline kinase alpha (CHKA), with a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. The assay is validated for mouse reactivity and detects natural and recombinant mouse CHKA in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

CHKA is a cytoplasmic enzyme that plays a key role in phospholipid biosynthesis, catalysing the first step in phosphatidylcholine production and contributing to phosphatidylethanolamine biosynthesis. It forms homodimers and heterodimers with CHKB and has been implicated in tumour cell growth. Dysregulation of the enzyme has been linked to cancer, metabolic disorders and neurological conditions, making it a relevant biomarker for studies in molecular biology, biochemistry and drug discovery.
