Quantitative measurement of the cholecystokinin A receptor in mouse-derived samples is supported by this ELISA kit from Assay Genie. Cholecystokinin A receptor (CCKAR) is a G protein-coupled receptor that binds cholecystokinin peptides and mediates key physiological responses including satiety signaling, gallbladder contraction, and pancreatic enzyme secretion. Mouse models are widely used to study CCKAR function in the context of obesity, diabetes, gastrointestinal motility disorders, and feeding behavior. The kit is configured for use with tissue homogenates, enabling researchers to compare receptor expression across digestive organs, pancreatic tissue, and central nervous system regions of interest. Each kit contains a capture-antibody-coated microplate along with the standards and detection reagents needed to build a calibration curve and quantify unknown samples. Applications include screening pharmacological compounds for agonist or antagonist activity at the CCKAR target, characterizing CCKAR expression in transgenic or knockout mouse strains, and profiling receptor levels in dietary intervention or disease-model studies. Sufficient reagents are provided for 96 individual determinations, supporting both small pilot experiments and larger screening campaigns in metabolic disease research programs.
