Mouse Chemerin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of chemerin in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Using a double antibody sandwich format read colorimetrically, it offers a sensitivity of 28.125 pg/mL and an assay range of 46.875–3000 pg/mL.

Chemerin is described as a protein involved in the regulation of immune and metabolic functions, with roles in inflammation, adipogenesis, and insulin resistance, making it a relevant biomarker for research in obesity, diabetes, and inflammatory disorders.

Reported linearity across dilutions includes serum (n=5) at 85–101%, 92–99% and 89–105% for 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) at 92–99%, 90–101% and 83–101%; and heparin plasma (n=5) at 83–96%, 95–100% and 84–100%. Recovery ranges from 87–102% (average 93%) for serum, 87–100% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 90–101% (average 96%) for heparin plasma. The assay procedure involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. Kit components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer (25X), plate sealer and a technical manual, with most components stored at 2–8°C.
