From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA enables quantitative measurement of CGRP (Calcitonin Gene-Related Peptide) in mouse samples. The assay is designed for the precise detection of CGRP levels in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, supporting investigations into pain transmission, vasodilation, inflammation, migraine, neurogenic inflammation, and cardiovascular disorders.

Key performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a detection range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Reported linearity values are 90-101% (1:2), 92-96% (1:4) and 92-98% (1:8) for serum (n=5); 86-103%, 82-97% and 82-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 88-102%, 84-100% and 86-100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery averages are 96% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 93% for heparin plasma. The procedure involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labeled detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding step, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition.

Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months.
