Mouse CGRP (Calcitonin Gene Related Peptide) CLIA Kit (MOES00135)

A chemiluminescence immunoassay from Assay Genie designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Mouse Calcitonin Gene-Related Peptide (CGRP) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a Sandwich-CLIA format on a pre-coated microplate, with a total assay time of 3.5h. Sensitivity is 4.69 pg/mL and the detection range is 7.81-500 pg/mL. The recommended sample volume is 100μL.

CGRP is a key neuropeptide involved in pain transmission and modulation, and its dysregulation has been implicated in conditions such as migraine, inflammation, and neurogenic inflammation, making the kit a useful biomarker research tool. The assay recognises Mouse CGRP1 in samples, with no significant cross-reactivity or interference with analogues reported. Recovery in serum is 86-100% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma 94-110% (average 101%), and in cell culture media 94-108% (average 99%). Both intra-assay and inter-assay CV values are below 15%.
