Mouse cGMP-specific 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase (Pde5a) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this competitive ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse cGMP-specific 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase (PDE5A) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It is reactive with mouse samples and shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse PDE5A, with a detection range of 0.625–40 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.334 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 6.8% and an inter-assay CV of 8.5%, and absorbance is read at 450 nm.

The kit is for research use only. PDE5A catalyses the specific hydrolysis of cGMP to 5'-GMP and specifically regulates nitric-oxide-generated cGMP (UniProt entry Q8CG03). Linearity has been evaluated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (92–101% to 109–119%), EDTA plasma (98–110% to 96–108%) and heparin plasma (84–92% to 108–118%). Mean recovery is 87% (range 81–93%) in serum and 89% (range 83–95%) in plasma.
