Description

Designed by Assay Genie for the precise measurement of cofilin-2 levels in mouse samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit uses a Double Antibody format and a colorimetric detection method to deliver sensitive and specific quantification. The kit is intended for use with mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, supporting a variety of research applications. Cofilin-2 (CFL2), also referred to as Cofilin, muscle isoform, is a key protein involved in actin dynamics and cytoskeletal remodeling, contributing to cell migration, invasion, adhesion, tissue development, wound healing, and cancer metastasis. The Mouse CFL2/Cofilin 2 ELISA Kit offers researchers a reliable tool for studying actin dynamics, cytoskeletal regulation, and related pathways in mouse models.

Quantitative performance is supported by a sensitivity of 15 pg/mL and an assay range of 25–1600 pg/mL, with kit components stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Spiked sample recovery has been demonstrated in serum (range 85–102%, average 94%), EDTA plasma (range 89–102%, average 97%), and heparin plasma (range 88–104%, average 94%). Linearity has been validated by serial dilution of these matrices at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8.

The assay workflow begins with equilibration of reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, followed by loading of standards, samples, and controls onto the pre-coated plate. A primary incubation is performed at 37°C for 90 minutes, after which biotin-labelled detection antibody is added and incubated at 37°C for 60 minutes. HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) is then applied at 37°C for 30 minutes, followed by TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes. Stop solution is added and absorbance is read immediately at 450 nm.
