Mouse CFB/Complement factor B ELISA Kit

Developed by Assay Genie, this colorimetric sandwich ELISA, double antibody immunoassay is intended for the quantitative measurement of Complement Factor B (CFB) in mouse samples. The kit is reactive with mouse and supports immunology research. Complement factor B is a component of the complement system, contributing to the immune response by enhancing the opsonization and lysis of pathogens, and its dysregulation has been implicated in various inflammatory diseases.

Reported sensitivity is 0.938 ng/mL with a detection range of 1.563-100 ng/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity data (n=5) for serum are 99-104% at 1:2, 87-98% at 1:4, and 82-96% at 1:8; for EDTA plasma are 82-97% at 1:2, 85-99% at 1:4, and 89-99% at 1:8; for heparin plasma are 89-103% at 1:2, 82-99% at 1:4, and 82-101% at 1:8. Recovery ranges are 85-99% (average 95%) for serum, 85-100% (average 97%) for EDTA plasma, and 88-103% (average 95%) for heparin plasma, each with n=5.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate incubation in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
