Mouse Ceruloplasmin ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of ceruloplasmin in mouse samples. Using a double-antibody sandwich format, the assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit has a reported sensitivity of 2.813 ng/mL and a detection range of 4.688–300 ng/mL, with components stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Ceruloplasmin is a key protein involved in iron metabolism and oxidation, and also modulates inflammatory responses. Its relevance in conditions such as Wilson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and cardiovascular disorders makes it an important biomarker for research, and the kit provides a reliable method for accurately quantifying ceruloplasmin levels in mouse samples.

Linearity has been validated in serum (88–100% at 1:2, 85–101% at 1:4, 80–98% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (87–105%, 83–101%, 81–97%), and heparin plasma (87–104%, 82–99%, 80–99%). Recovery ranges are 87–101% (average 90%) for serum, 91–104% (average 99%) for EDTA plasma, and 92–100% (average 95%) for heparin plasma. The assay procedure involves reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB color development, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm.
