Mouse CDKN1B/p27 Kip1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate quantification of CDKN1B (p27 Kip1) levels in mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. CDKN1B, also known as p27 Kip1, is a key regulator of cell cycle progression and cell proliferation, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer and cardiovascular disorders, making it a relevant biomarker for research.

The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, achieving a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL across a range of 7.813-500 pg/mL. Signal is generated via a biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Validation data demonstrate reliable linearity and recovery across sample types. At 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, serum showed linearity of 89-101%, 82-92%, and 88-100%; EDTA plasma 85-95%, 84-100%, and 80-98%; and heparin plasma 90-98%, 86-98%, and 80-94%. Recovery averages were 97% for serum (range 90-105%), 93% for EDTA plasma (range 86-97%), and 94% for heparin plasma (range 86-105%). The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months and serves as a tool for investigating the role of CDKN1B in health and disease in mouse models.
