Mouse Cdk2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA (double antibody) from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 2 (CDK2) in mouse samples, using a colorimetric detection method. It is suited to research applications including studies of cell cycle regulation, cancer biology, and drug development in mouse models, where CDK2 activity is of interest.

CDK2 is an enzyme that regulates the cell cycle and plays a key role in cell division; its dysregulation has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, so measuring CDK2 levels can provide insights into disease progression and potential therapeutic targets. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Validated linearity is 82–105% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, and average recovery is 94% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 96% in heparin plasma. The protocol uses a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labelled detection antibody for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after the stop reaction.
