Mouse Cdh3/Cadherin-3 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the sensitive detection of mouse Cadherin-3 (CDH3) levels in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format, is developed with a TMB substrate, and is read by measuring absorbance at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.

In linearity testing, serum samples diluted 1:2 to 1:8 (n=5) gave recoveries of 85–104%, 83–99% and 82–99%; EDTA plasma gave 91–105%, 84–101% and 88–100%; and heparin plasma gave 87–99%, 82–101% and 85–97%. Spike-and-recovery averages were 93% for serum, 98% for EDTA plasma and 97% for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at 2–8°C and are stated to be stable for 12 months under those conditions.

Cadherin-3 is a calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecule that contributes to cell-to-cell adhesion and tissue organisation, and its dysregulation has been associated with cancer, developmental disorders and neurological conditions. The kit is positioned for cell biology research aimed at quantifying Cadherin-3 in mouse samples.
