Mouse CD95/FAS ELISA Kit

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with absorbance read at 450 nm, and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. CD95/Fas is a key protein involved in apoptosis, regulating cell death and survival, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for cell death research. Validation data show linearity for serum (86-98%, 85-101%, 95-101% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 dilutions; n=5), EDTA plasma (83-98%, 83-99%, 83-98%), and heparin plasma (81-99%, 80-100%, 82-100%). Recovery averages are 95% for serum (range 90-101%), 97% for EDTA plasma (range 88-105%), and 93% for heparin plasma (range 86-96%). The procedure uses a pre-coated plate with biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC), TMB substrate for color development, and kit components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
