Mouse CD44 antigen (Cd44) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse CD44 antigen in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and is intended for research use only. Detection is performed by colorimetric readout in ELISA format.

CD44 is a cell surface glycoprotein that acts as a receptor for hyaluronic acid (HA) and mediates cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. It plays a role in cell adhesion, migration, and signaling, and is involved in lymphocyte activation, recirculation and homing, hematopoiesis, wound healing, inflammation, and cancer progression. The protein is also linked to tumor growth and progression, and altered expression or dysfunction of CD44 is associated with numerous pathogenic phenotypes.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 8.3% and inter-assay CV is 10.1%. Recovery averages 92% (range 86-98%) in serum and 94% (range 88-100%) in plasma. Specificity is for natural and recombinant mouse CD44 antigen (UniProt entry P15379).
