Mouse CD40L/TNFSF5 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of CD40L (also known as TNFSF5) in mouse samples. It is reactive with mouse and validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a measurable range of 1.563–100 ng/mL, with the kit intended for storage at 2–8 °C for 12 months.

CD40L is a key mediator of immune responses and inflammation; it engages CD40 on antigen-presenting cells and contributes to B cell activation, antibody production and cytokine secretion. Monitoring CD40L levels can support research into autoimmune diseases, infections and cancer. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format, with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.

Reported linearity (sample dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, n = 5) is 86–102%, 82–94% and 80–98% for serum; 85–100%, 91–99% and 83–96% for EDTA plasma; and 88–102%, 82–95% and 83–97% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery (n = 5) ranges are 85–99% (average 90%) in serum, 86–104% (average 95%) in EDTA plasma, and 88–101% (average 94%) in heparin plasma.
