Description

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse CD200 (OX-2 membrane glycoprotein) in research samples. CD200 (OX-2) is a membrane glycoprotein involved in immune regulation and tolerance, modulating immune responses and supporting immune homeostasis, which makes it a relevant target for studying immune-related diseases and therapeutic interventions. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric readout, offering a sensitive and reproducible method for quantifying CD200 (OX-2) in mouse samples.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a working range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with the kit stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Validated linearity in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma falls between 80% and 105% across dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8. Spike-and-recovery performance is reported as 86-101% (average 97%) for serum, 91-104% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 90-105% (average 92%) for heparin plasma.

The workflow follows a standard sandwich ELISA procedure: reagents and TMB substrate are equilibrated, samples and standards are incubated at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by 60 minutes with a biotin-labelled detection antibody, 30 minutes with HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, 10-20 minutes of substrate development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after the addition of stop solution. Sample preparation guidance covers serum (clotting followed by centrifugation at 1000 × g for 20 minutes), plasma (anticoagulant tubes, 1000 × g for 15 minutes at 2-8°C), tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and cell lysates.
