CCL9 is a chemokine that plays a key role in inflammatory responses and immune cell recruitment, with involvement in immune regulation and inflammatory disease processes. In validation studies, linearity in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma ranged from 80% to 104% across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 sample dilutions, while recovery averaged 97% for serum (range 88-105%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 89-95%), and 96% for heparin plasma (range 86-103%). The protocol uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC), and TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm.
