Mouse CBX3/Chromobox Homolog 3 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA, double antibody kit for quantitative detection of CBX3 (Chromobox homolog 3) in mouse samples using a colorimetric detection method.

CBX3, also known as Modifier 2 protein, Heterochromatin protein 1 homolog gamma, HP1 gamma, and M32 (UniProt P23198), is a key protein involved in chromatin remodeling and gene expression regulation. It plays a role in maintaining genomic stability and gene silencing, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer and developmental disorders, highlighting its potential as a biomarker for disease progression and therapeutic development.

Validated linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions: serum 85-105%, EDTA plasma 82-101%, and heparin plasma 80-100% (n=5 each). Recovery rates were 93-100% for serum (average 95%), 92-100% for EDTA plasma (average 96%), and 86-99% for heparin plasma (average 96%). The kit is intended for research use in cell biology and is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
