Mouse Caveolin 1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a colorimetric Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit for the quantitative measurement of caveolin-1 in mouse samples. The kit is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is suited to research applications exploring caveolin-1 biology in mouse models.

Caveolin-1 participates in cellular functions including signal transduction, cholesterol homeostasis, and vesicular trafficking, and its dysregulation has been associated with cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurological conditions. Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 23.438 pg/mL and an assay range of 39.063-2500 pg/mL. Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The protocol covers reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm. Reported linearity for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions spans 81-105%. Recovery across the same sample types ranges from 85-104%.
