Description

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate quantification of mouse Cation-independent mannose-6-phosphate receptor (Igf2r) levels across a range of research applications. The kit is highly sensitive and specific, offering reliable and reproducible results in mouse samples, and Igf2r is a key receptor involved in cell signalling and growth regulation. Its dysregulation has been implicated in diseases such as cancer, diabetes and neurodegenerative disorders, making the receptor a potential therapeutic target and diagnostic marker.

Built around a Sandwich ELISA format with reactivity for mouse samples, the assay detects Igf2r within a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.087 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.8% and inter-assay CV is 9.4%. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Cation-independent mannose-6-phosphate receptor (also known as 300 kDa mannose 6-phosphate receptor, Insulin-like growth factor 2 receptor, M6P/IGF2 receptor, MPR 300, CD222 and CI Man-6-P receptor) and is supplied in a solid-phase format for storage at -20°C with shipping at +4°C.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Linearity in serum (N=5) ranges from 93-103% at 1:2 to 88-100% at 1:16, in EDTA plasma (N=5) from 108-117% at 1:2 to 85-95% at 1:16, and in heparin plasma (N=5) from 93-102% at 1:2 to 85-85% at 1:16. Recovery averages 100% in serum (range 94-106%) and 102% in plasma (range 96-108%). The kit is for research use only and falls within the immunology research area; the target protein is localised to the lysosome membrane as a single-pass type I membrane protein (UniProt Q07113).
