Mouse Cathepsin L1 (Ctsl1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Cathepsin L1 (Ctsl1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Cathepsin L1 is a lysosomal cysteine protease involved in protein degradation and tissue remodeling, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, inflammatory disorders and cardiovascular diseases, making it a useful biomarker for disease research and therapeutic development.

The kit uses a colorimetric sandwich detection format with reactivity specific to mouse samples. The reported detection range is 78-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 39.3pg/mL, and the assay recognises both natural and recombinant mouse Cathepsin L1. The mature enzyme is a dimer composed of a heavy and a light chain linked by disulfide bonds and is localised to the lysosome (UniProt P06797). For research use only.
