Mouse Cathepsin K ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of cathepsin K in mouse samples. The kit is developed for the precise measurement of cathepsin K levels in mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is specific to mouse reactivity. Cathepsin K is a key enzyme essential for bone resorption and remodeling, playing a critical role in conditions such as osteoporosis and various bone disorders, making this kit a useful tool for related research studies.

Detection is colorimetric, with a stated sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Linearity was demonstrated across serum (87-105%, 85-105%, 92-104% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 dilutions), EDTA plasma (86-99%, 83-99%, 87-100%), and heparin plasma (89-100%, 85-98%, 83-99%). Recovery averaged 93% for serum (range 85-104%), 97% for EDTA plasma (range 93-99%), and 97% for heparin plasma (range 86-103%).

The assay procedure includes reagent equilibration, a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm. Kit components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
