Mouse Cathepsin G (Ctsg) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie intended for the quantitative measurement of mouse Cathepsin G (Ctsg), also referred to by the synonym Vimentin-specific protease (VSP). The assay is reactive with mouse samples and recognises natural and recombinant mouse Cathepsin G. The target is a serine protease with trypsin- and chymotrypsin-like specificity that belongs to the peptidase S1 family and cleaves complement C3. As a vimentin-specific protease, Cathepsin G may regulate the reorganization of vimentin filaments during cell differentiation, movement and mitosis.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and the product is positioned for research in the area of signal transduction. The stated detection range is 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. The kit is intended for research use only.
