Mouse Caspase-7 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of mouse caspase-7, a key enzyme in apoptosis and programmed cell death. The assay uses a sandwich ELISA format with a double-antibody detection principle and produces a colorimetric readout, with absorbance measured at 450 nm after TMB substrate development and stop solution addition. Compatible samples include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit is intended for research use only.

Reported recovery in serum is 92–105% (average 92%), in EDTA plasma 85–101% (average 92%), and in heparin plasma 85–95% (average 96%). Linearity values are 82–96%, 83–91% and 81–93% in serum, 83–100%, 86–105% and 88–103% in EDTA plasma, and 86–105%, 90–101% and 85–101% in heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 respectively. Components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, and the kit is shipped on ice packs.

The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents and a pre-coated plate, a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, and colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes before reading absorbance at 450 nm.
