Mouse Caspase-6 (Casp6) ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise quantification of mouse caspase-6, this sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie targets Casp6 (synonyms: Apoptotic protease Mch-2 and CASP-6) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Caspase-6 plays a critical role in apoptotic cell death, with dysregulation linked to neurodegenerative disorders, inflammatory conditions and cancer, supporting its value as a biomarker for studies of disease pathology and treatment efficacy.

The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse caspase-6 with a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Reported precision figures include an intra-assay CV of 7.5% and an inter-assay CV of 10.0%. Linearity has been validated on serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (N=5), with serum ranging 99–109%, 103–114%, 103–115% and 90–99%; EDTA plasma ranging 107–116%, 97–107%, 89–100% and 108–116%; and heparin plasma ranging 106–114%, 88–98%, 81–92% and 107–117%. Recovery averages 94% for serum (range 88–100%) and 96% for plasma (range 90–102%). The kit is intended for cancer research and for research use only.
