Mouse Caspase-3 (Casp3) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate detection of mouse caspase-3 in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. Caspase-3 is a critical enzyme involved in apoptosis, with dysregulation linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and autoimmune diseases, making its measurement valuable for studying cell death and disease pathogenesis in mouse models.

The kit offers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 6.9%. It is specific for natural and recombinant mouse caspase-3, and recognises the protein also known by synonyms such as Apopain, Cysteine protease CPP32, LICE, Protein Yama, SREBP cleavage activity 1, CPP-32, SCA-1, CASP-3 and Cpp32. Linearity has been characterised for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Mean recovery is 87% (range 81–93%) for serum and 89% (range 83–95%) for plasma.
