Mouse Caspase 1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Mouse Caspase-1 ELISA Kit is a colorimetric, sandwich-format immunoassay designed for the precise quantification of caspase-1 in mouse samples. Caspase-1 is a key enzyme involved in inflammatory responses and immune regulation, and its dysregulation has been implicated in autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, and inflammatory conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for studying disease pathogenesis and potential therapeutic interventions in mouse models.

The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich ELISA format with a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, with reactivity confirmed for mouse. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, and absorbance is read at 450 nm following TMB colour development and stop solution addition.

Linearity has been verified across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with serum recoveries of 87–103%, EDTA plasma of 82–101%, and heparin plasma of 80–98%. Spike-and-recovery performance returned an average of 95% in serum (range 91–99%), 93% in EDTA plasma (range 85–105%) and 93% in heparin plasma (range 89–99%).
