Mouse Carcinoembryonic antigen/CEA ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA, double-antibody kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise quantitative measurement of Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) in mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. CEA is a glycoprotein commonly overexpressed in colorectal, lung, and breast cancer, and the kit is intended to support studies of cancer biology, evaluation of therapeutic efficacy, and identification of potential biomarkers for early detection.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Kit components should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Validated linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions yielded 88-101%, 82-98% and 99-104% for serum (n=5), 91-101%, 89-98% and 85-99% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 83-100%, 80-100% and 80-94% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery testing gave average recoveries of 99% for serum (range 90-105%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 87-99%) and 96% for heparin plasma (range 93-103%).
