Mouse Cannabinoid R1/CB1/CNR1 ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Mouse Cannabinoid R1 (CB1/CNR1) ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA using a double-antibody format designed for the quantitative detection of mouse cannabinoid receptor 1 in biological samples. The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. It is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Cannabinoid receptor 1, also referred to as CNR1 or CB1, is a key protein of the endocannabinoid system that contributes to the regulation of mood, appetite, pain perception, and memory. Dysregulation of CB1 has been associated with obesity, neurodegenerative disorders, and psychiatric disorders, and accurate measurement of receptor levels in biological samples supports research into these conditions. The kit uses a colorimetric workflow with TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm after stop solution is added. Linearity has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions in serum (88-99%, 86-102%, 93-103%), EDTA plasma (84-101%, 90-99%, 87-101%) and heparin plasma (89-98%, 85-93%, 82-98%) using n=5. Recovery ranges were 86-101% (average 95) for serum, 85-102% (average 94) for EDTA plasma, and 87-103% (average 97) for heparin plasma, each with n=5.
