Mouse cAMP and cAMP-inhibited cGMP 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase 10A (Pde10a) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a colorimetric Sandwich ELISA Kit designed for the quantitative detection of mouse cAMP and cAMP-inhibited cGMP 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase 10A (PDE10A) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay has a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.158 ng/mL.

PDE10A is a key enzyme in cyclic nucleotide signaling, implicated in neurotransmission, muscle contraction, and cell proliferation. The enzyme can hydrolyze both cAMP and cGMP, with higher affinity and greater efficiency for cAMP, and may play a critical role in regulating cyclic nucleotide levels in the striatum, a brain region involved in movement and cognition. The kit recognises natural and recombinant mouse PDE10A and supports research in signal transduction. The target is a homodimer localised to the cytoplasm, referenced under UniProt accession Q8CA95.
