Mouse Calcium/calmodulin-dependent 3',5'-cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase 1C (Pde1c) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse calcium/calmodulin-dependent 3',5'-cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase 1C (PDE1C) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. PDE1C is a calmodulin-dependent enzyme with dual-specificity for the second messengers cAMP and cGMP, and its dysregulation has been linked to cardiovascular disorders, neurological conditions, and metabolic disorders.

The assay provides a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.084ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 7.4% and an inter-assay CV of 9.0%. Specificity is stated for natural and recombinant mouse PDE1C. The target is a homodimer (UniProt Q64338) with a reported molecular weight of 71,746 Da, localising to the lysosome where it colocalises with LAMP1.

Linearity was assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions, with recovery averaging 90% for serum (range 84-96%) and 92% for plasma (range 86-98%). The kit is for research use only.
