Mouse Cadherin-13 (Cdh13) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie with colorimetric detection, designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Cadherin-13 (CDH13). It is intended for use with mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and recognises both natural and recombinant mouse Cadherin-13. CDH13 is a calcium-dependent cell adhesion protein that may act as a negative regulator of neural cell growth, and is also known as Heart cadherin, H-cadherin, Truncated cadherin and T-cad.

The assay has a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.397 ng/mL. Reported intra-assay precision is 6.9% and inter-assay precision 10.3%. Linearity has been assessed in serum (86–96%, 83–92%, 104–113%, 103–111% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions), EDTA plasma (101–112%, 109–120%, 109–118%, 100–113%) and heparin plasma (102–114%, 98–108%, 105–116%, 87–99%). Mean recovery is 110% in serum (range 104–116%) and 112% in plasma (range 106–118%). The protein localises to the cell membrane as a GPI-anchored lipid-anchored molecule, and its primary research area is cardiovascular biology. For research use only.
