Mouse Cadherin-11 (Cdh11) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of Mouse Cadherin-11 (Cdh11), also known by the synonyms OSF-4, Osteoblast cadherin, OB-cadherin, and Cad-11, in mouse samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatant, and other biological fluids. Cadherin-11 is a calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecule involved in tissue development and maintenance, and in processes such as cell migration, invasion, and metastasis, making it a relevant target for research into cancer progression and other physiological and pathological processes.

The assay uses a quantitative sandwich ELISA format in which highly specific antibodies are pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards or samples are added, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. After a substrate reaction terminated by stop solution, optical density is measured at 450 nm and is proportional to Cadherin-11 concentration. The kit is reactive with mouse samples and is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Cadherin-11 (UniProt P55288).
