Mouse CA199 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA, double antibody kit developed for the precise measurement of CA199 levels in mouse samples. CA199, also known as carbohydrate antigen 19-9, is a key biomarker associated with diseases such as pancreatic cancer and other gastrointestinal malignancies, and its reliable detection and quantification support studies of disease progression and treatment effectiveness.

The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 0.375 IU/mL and an assay range of 0.625-40 IU/mL, with components stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Linearity in serum (n=5) is reported at 91-105%, 89-101%, and 86-102% for 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions respectively; EDTA plasma (n=5) at 83-96%, 86-99%, 86-96%; and heparin plasma (n=5) at 84-99%, 82-99%, 80-97%. Recovery ranges are 85-103% (average 94%) for serum, 86-105% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 90-104% (average 100%) for heparin plasma.

The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards and samples, incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes for primary binding, then adding biotin-labeled detection antibody (60 minutes at 37°C), HRP-Streptavidin (30 minutes at 37°C), TMB substrate (10-20 minutes in the dark), and stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm.
