Mouse C-X-C motif chemokine 16 (Cxcl16) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of mouse C-X-C motif chemokine 16 (CXCL16) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. The colorimetric assay has a detection range of 31.2–2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.69 pg/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 6.8% and inter-assay CV of 8.9%.

Specific for natural and recombinant mouse CXCL16, the kit is intended for immunology research. Recovery in serum averages 102% (range 96–108%) and in plasma averages 104% (range 98–110%). CXCL16 is a chemokine that induces a strong chemotactic response, triggers calcium mobilization, and binds CXCR6/Bonzo; it also acts as a scavenger receptor on macrophages, binding oxidized LDL and playing a role in atherogenesis. Dysregulation of CXCL16 has been linked to autoimmune disorders, inflammatory diseases, and cancer. For research use only.
