Mouse C-X-C motif chemokine 15 (Cxcl15) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a Sandwich ELISA Kit designed for the quantitative detection of mouse C-X-C motif chemokine 15 (CXCL15), a chemokine implicated in inflammatory responses and immune regulation whose dysregulation has been linked to inflammatory and autoimmune disease. The assay measures CXCL15 levels in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The target is also known by the synonyms Lungkine, Small-inducible cytokine B15 and Scyb15; it is a secreted protein (UniProt: Q9WVL7) with chemokine activity that drives neutrophil recruitment to sites of inflammation and contributes to lung-specific neutrophil trafficking during normal and inflammatory conditions.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.061 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.8% and inter-assay CV is 9.5%. Linearity was assessed across four dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16) in serum (N=5), EDTA plasma (N=5) and heparin plasma (N=5), with recovery values ranging from 89% to 119% across sample types. Average recovery is 102% (range 96–108%) for serum and 104% (range 98–110%) for plasma. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse C-X-C motif chemokine 15.

Detection is carried out colorimetrically, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader. The kit is supplied with a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, each with individually specified storage conditions.
