Mouse C-C motif chemokine 5 (Ccl5) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA kit developed for the accurate quantification of C-C motif chemokine 5 (CCL5), also referred to as RANTES, in mouse-derived samples. The assay is reactive with mouse and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, demonstrating specificity for natural and recombinant mouse C-C motif chemokine 5.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 39-2500pg/mL and a sensitivity of 19.6pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported as a CV of 4.8%, with inter-assay CV at 8.3%. Recovery in serum averages 98% (range 92-104%), while plasma recovery averages 100% (range 94-106%).

CCL5 is a secreted chemokine that functions as a chemoattractant for blood monocytes, memory T-helper cells and eosinophils, causes the release of histamine from basophils, and may activate several chemokine receptors including CCR1, CCR3, CCR4 and CCR5.
