Mouse C-C motif chemokine 24 (Ccl24) ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for quantitative measurement of mouse C-C motif chemokine 24 (CCL24), this sandwich ELISA kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay reacts specifically with natural and recombinant mouse CCL24 and is intended for research use only in immunology applications.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit provides a detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 7.98 pg/mL. Reported precision values are 7.5% intra-assay CV and 9.5% inter-assay CV. Recovery is stated at 95% (range 89–101%) for serum and 97% (range 91–103%) for plasma, and linearity has been assessed across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

CCL24, also known as eotaxin-2, eosinophil chemotactic protein 2, small-inducible cytokine A24, Scya24 and MPIF-2, is a secreted CC chemokine (UniProt Q9JKC0, 12,871 Da) that acts as a chemoattractant for resting T-lymphocytes and eosinophils, shows lower activity toward neutrophils and none toward monocytes or activated lymphocytes, and signals through CCR3. The kit supports research into immune regulation, inflammation and allergic disease.
